"I knew at a young age I wanted to help and support people with medical needs."
I fell in love with the health care profession back in 2002 and I never thought that becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant was going to change my life so tremendously. Caring for the older population reminded me of how much I loved my grandparents and how extraordinary people mark your life forever.
I graduated from nursing school in 2006 and I have worked in hospitals, community clinics, trauma center, nursing homes and provided direct patient care. Eventually, I became a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor and in that capacity I was able to share my experience and passion for the nursing field with new generations of health care professionals.
I have always advocated for independence, respect and bedside manners. As a Nurse's Aide Instructor, I had the privilege to work for the American Red Cross, and Norwalk Community College. I am very thankful and excited to join the Grand Care Companions team!
